NewsVideo

Privacy Policy

This policy is a plain-language starting point and is not legal advice. NewsVideo is designed as a lightweight public video-link feed and does not require visitors to create an account.

Information We Store

For public visitors, NewsVideo stores selected region preference in the visitor's browser local storage so the feed can remember the chosen region. The backend stores video link data added by an authorized administrator, including YouTube ID, URL, title, description, region, posting time, expiration time, and visibility status.

Admin Login

Admin access uses Google Sign-In. The backend verifies the Google ID token and checks it against the configured administrator email before issuing an admin session token. NewsVideo does not ask public visitors to sign in.

Third Parties

NewsVideo uses YouTube embeds and YouTube metadata services. When you play a video, your browser communicates with YouTube or related Google services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.

Cookies and Tracking

NewsVideo does not intentionally use advertising cookies or analytics trackers in the application code. Browser storage is used only for the selected region, and Google/YouTube may use their own cookies or storage when sign-in or embedded playback is used.
